| Description |
The Arab Community Center for Economic and Social Services (ACCESS) looks forward to hosting the 5th National Conference on Health Issues in the Arab American Community. This Conference continues the fine tradition established in 1999 and continues to affirm our strong commitment to preventing disease, reducing health disparities and promoting wellness in the community at-large. This strategically designed Conference offers medical practitioners and public and mental health professionals an academic forum in which to showcase their research, health programs and activities, and to interact with colleagues who share interests and areas of focus. The Conference themes are aligned with the US Surgeon General’s report, “Healthy People 2010”, which outlines national goals for disease control and health promotion. ACCESS is committed
to contributing to the realization of these goals by implementing strategies and continuing to focus and strengthen its health and educational programs. |
