A Clinical Update on Intrauterine Contraception

Description The Association of Reproductive Health Professionals (ARHP) is hosting a free accredited clinical training on intrauterine contraception (IUC) on Friday, December 12th from 9-11 am. The session will be presented by expert faculty member Dr. Steven Sondheimer from the University of Pennsylvania. This breakfast seminar will cover efficacy, side effects, appropriate candidates, and strategies for meaningful dialogue between providers and patients about IUC. The CME lecture will be followed by an insertion practicum allowing participants to practice using both the LNG IUS and Copper T IUD. Ample time will be available to ask questions.
