24th Annual Pediatrics for the Practitioner: Update 2009

Start Date Thursday, September 24, 2009
End Date Friday, September 25, 2009
Description The major focus of this conference will be on commonly encountered problems about which current controversies exist and on aspects which have recently changed patient management. New this year will be the inclusion of workshops on both days, enabling the registrant to have even more interaction with the faculty and obtain additional credit hours. Some of the topics to be covered include asthma, autism, antibiotics for common infections, celiac disease, diabetes, seizures, adolescent gynecology and an immunization update, among others. At workshops, participants will be able to focus on specific clinical areas, including cardiac evaluation, adolescent nutrition, mental health issues, ADHD update, special needs children, child abuse, dermatology and medication use safety. These sessions will provide ample opportunities for registrants to interact with the faculty.
